Nomad Physical Therapy is a one-of-a-kind mobile physical therapy clinic, providing services outside of a traditional clinic. All services are aimed at improving pain levels, strength, range of motion, function, and quality of life. Nomad will come to you whether it is at home, work, or in the outdoors. Our goal is not only to restore your function, but to optimize your strength and wellness.

Physical Therapy

Nomad Physical Therapy strives to provide individualized care based on the needs of the patient. Treatments used often include hands on therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Physical Therapy will start with an initial evaluation, where the therapist will get to know you and become familiar with your injury or functional problem. The therapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan to guide you towards your functional goals.

Six Month Check Up

Six months from the date your physical therapist discharges you, they will reach out to see if you have any questions on your exercise plan, and ensure you are still doing them. Over the  course of physical therapy, you learn a lot, and work hard to rehabilitate from your injury. Here at Nomad PT, we don't want to see you lose your progress, and that is why we check in after six months from discharge. With this check in, you can feel free to ask question, update your home exercise plan, or even schedule a follow up appointment.

Telehealth

Nomad offers full Telehealth and hybrid Telehealth options. Telehealth services are HIPPA compliant so you can ensure a private online session.  Telehealth is a great option if for those who need a little more flexibility for scheduling, or even those who are traveling and don't want to miss out on an appointment. 

Exercise Class

Injury Prevention Clinic

Our injury prevention clinic is designed, by a licensed physical therapist, to screen for potential musculoskeletal impairments that will place an athlete, or employee at an increased risk for injuring (or re-injuring) themselves. Once impairments are addressed, we will work with the individual to demonstrate, instruct, and educate on proper exercises to avoid potential injuries. This is typically done in a group setting, but can be transitioned to one on one care. If there is a significant musculoskeletal deficit, or an individual is currently experiencing pain, it may be indicated for the athlete to start a more rigorous exercise regime to prevent the injury from worsening, or occuring.

Wellness Visits

Want to improve your overall health and wellness? Nomad Physical Therapy is offering wellness visits to help you meet your fitness goals. This is also a great option for those whose insurance has run out and would like to continue to work on improving overall wellness safely. Anyone can sign up for wellness visits, even without first being seen for physical therapy. 

Running

Running Analysis

Our running analysis is designed to pinpoint deficits in your running gait. Runners take a lot of steps in a day, and if there is a gait impairment, it can place joints, ligaments, and muscles at risk for injury. Some things that may be suggested are strength training, changes in form, or inclusion of a foot orthotic in order to normalize running patterns.
